As an advisor he has served on many government assignments. He was the convener of health advisory committee DD Bharti (2002), a governing council member of College of Applied Sciences Univ. of Delhi (2000), member Delhi Legal Service Authority (1998),  member of committee for experts for control of cardiovascular diseases Ministry of Health GOI;  Delhi coordinator for the Year of Scientific Awareness by Department of Science and Technology GOI (2004); Member of Manviya Sanrakshan Abhiyan Samiti Ministry of HRD (2004) and on the committee for medical informatics Ministry of Health and Family welfare Govt. of India. He has developed training modules for Police, HIV training for DSACS and for blood motivators for DST GOI.

He is an awareness stirrer. He has designed over 1000 one liner health sutras, which serves as thumb for the purpose of health understanding (example food of plant in origin contains no cholesterol).  He has been the first one to organize conferences for the doctors and release practical guidelines for the general public during the epidemics of dengue, plague, meningococcal meningitis, leptospirosis, and epidemic dropsy.

He is a keen educator, sensitizer and trainer. He holds the distinction of organizing eleven World Conferences on Cardiology, Medical CME Programs and Health Events in the country. He has been training nursing students for the last 15 years (education, interactive competitions etc). He was responsible for the training on first aid and CPR for all PCR vans in Delhi during Raja Vijay Karan's tenure as police commissioner; training of DTC drivers on First Aid under Dept. of Transport and training of students and school principals on subjects like HIV-AIDS, road safety under Delhi Government.

He is a social campaigner and has conceptualized popular community based interactive programs like: Health Durbar;  Perfect Health Parade; Health Tambola; Kaun Banega Healthy Crorepati; Tongathon March, Health Break (break ke baad); Walks on Health subjects; Tempothon; Mr. Tobacco- an anti-Tobacco campaign; Delhi Minister's Pledge to boycott tobacco promoting functions; Take care of your sweet heart Glow red campaign;  100 meters race for the patients with knee pain or replaced  knee;  The green concert on World Environment Day; Tobacco effigies burning with all rituals at cremation ground;  Health awareness using the kites with health messages;  Health awareness through competitions (school, college, dance schools, RWA and inter organizations), and has designed low cost educational modules like Health Playing Cards; Miniature Health Books; Health Games like Snake and ladder, Ludo, Dart, besides Fun and  Recreation for the common masses.

He is a visionary with a difference. He has conceptualized disease specific camps on PSA, TSH, obesity and osteoporosis camps; designed advertisements for various Delhi Govt. campaigns; created new logo for Allopathy (red wheel with Rx sign) that was adopted by Delhi Medical Association and advocates the inclusion of financial health in the definition of heath.

He has a deep-rooted concern for the weaker sections and created the concept of life saving drug bank, pacemaker bank and free health check up camps. He organised free pacemaker camps (1990 - 96) with Project Pacer International, a US based NGO, where 25 to 30 free pace makers were free implanted annually. Now he runs a heart care foundation helpline (09958771177) and heart care foundation drug bank.

He conceptualized the idea of involving politicians, bureaucrats and celebrities in dispersing health messages to the community utilizing the principle 'Hit the Iron When It is Hot' and Involving People Who Count'.  He got health Messages released from Hon'ble President of Republic of India Smt. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil, former Hon'ble Presidents of Republic of India Late Gyani Zail Singh, Late Shri Shankar Dayal Sharma, former Hon'ble Vice Presidents of Republic of India Late Sh. Krishnakant Ji, Sh. Bharo Singh Ji Shekhawat,former Hon'ble Prime Minsters of India Sh. A B Vajpayee, Late Sh. P V Narasimha Rao, Sh. I K Gujral, former Hon'ble Lt.Governor of Delhi Sh. B L Joshi, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Sheila Dikshit, former Hon'ble Chief Ministers of Delhi Sh. Madan Lal Khurana, Sh. Sahib Singh, besides other eminent dignitaries.

He organized the first ever film stars' Chat Show on Health in December 1993; utilized film premiers to create health awareness with films like 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke', 'Karam Yoddha'.

He used the film 'Main Khiladi Tu Anadi' created awareness on HIV/AIDS. The slogan of "I am Anadi. If I Use Condom I'll Become Khiladi" by Akshay Kumar became the talk of the town. He has involved famous past and present cricketers, film stars, TV stars, models, dancers; fashion designers to interact with the media on Health related topics or distributing personalized health messages signed by them.
